fresh cosmetics has partnered up with sony pictures to produce a set of fragrances based on elizabeth gilbert’s bestselling journey through italy, india, and bali. i’m normally not one for movie merchandise, but linking up what has become one of my most-loved books with a top cosmetics line is a reason to get excited. the scents ($32) will be available exclusively in fresh boutiques and online after july 15th. each eau stays true to its part of elizabeth’s journey capturing the senses of each country with notes of italian lemon and basil in eat; vanilla, pink pepper, and juniper in pray; and peony, rose, mango, and velvet amber in love. while i haven’t smelled them yet, i would wager that fresh has done an excellent job of translating gilbert’s words and experiences into scent.
