Spring Beauty Trends

my friend hadley owns the cutest boutique in chapel hill, north carolina. she has a keen eye for high fashion at a moderate price point and really exceptional taste. while her boutique was coming together, she started blogging her fashion finds around the same time that the glossarie was born. now, her business is booming and hadley continues to blog all of the beautiful pieces that land in her store.

today, i’m over at the hadley emerson blog sharing my thoughts on spring beauty trends with six ways to wake up your makeup in the warmer months. come click on over to see what all the fuss is about and you just might discover a new product obsession (or two!) for spring.

a neon pink manicure brings mid-winter cheer

do you read matchbook magazine? it’s pure delight from cover to cover and my favorite part is the “the matchbook girl…” series that opens each issue. one of this month’s isms states that “the matchbook girl knows a neon pink manicure brings mid-winter cheer” and i couldn’t agree more! if you’re headed to the nail salon in january, consider picking one of these beautiful brights to warm things up.
