happy friday, beauties!
how about this awesome nail candy to send you into the weekend? essie has done it again with one incredible sixsome for spring. yes, the colors are killer, but the inspiration behind the collection is what i really love. dubbed “navigate her” these beautiful brights and powerful pastels represent essie’s tribute to the woman of action – the one who dreams big and puts her best self forward.
these colors mean business! and they represent some of the best and most important nail trends for 2012, including pistachio, blush, and tangerine. top row, from left to right: navigate her (subtle sorbet green), a crewed interest (delicate peach), to buy or not to buy (lilac shimmer). bottom row: tour de finance (rich iridescent fuchsia – so spring right!), ole caliente (bright red), orange, it’s obvious! (pretty much the best orange ever).
look for them in stores next month!

Beautiful colors for Spring! Can’t wait for the cold to go away!
i love ‘em too! i think i’ll be rocking the lilac as soon as i can get it into my clutches :)
i really love the green one!
me too! the minty pistachio is so perfect.
Every single one of those is gorgeous!
it seriously looks like candy! i’m so ready for spring colors.
I’ve seen the green one popping up everywhere and can’t wait to get a bottle, but I’m pretty sure after seeing the rest of the collection that I’m going to have to buy all 6!
have you seen the “better togethers” at target? they’re mini bottles paired with a top coat for less than the price of a full bottle – so great if you’re lusting the whole group :)
Oh and regarding brow pencils – have you tried the Benefit Instant Brow? LOVE it!
i used it a long time ago and while i liked it, i remember it being very soft. I might have to try it again! sephora didn’t have the too faced today.
Love the lilac one!!!

i think that one is my favorite, too! the shimmer makes it very different from their other lilac (creme), lilacism.
That hot pink shade looks pretty much perfect!! Can’t wait for spring.
yes! fuchsia is everywhere for spring. it might be fun on lips, but i think it will be best on nails, for sure!
AH – you just got me so excited for spring. && I thank you :)
xo,
Natalie

i do too – and i love that she did both bright and light color tones, it makes the collection so much more interesting!
