It feels like fall came and went very quickly in NY. Just as my skin and life were adjusting to slightly cooler temps and putting a coat on each morning, there’s a dreaded snowflake on the calendar.
Frigid temps alone, I’m excited that our family winter season is looking pretty tame – we try to block our weekends to take in all of the City holiday magic and our daughter is busy scouting daily catalog arrivals, seemingly going for some sort of world record for the world’s longest wish list. (Note: at our house, Santa brings one thing – so she’s going to have to edit!)
Aside from looking forward to a little time off, amazing food, and family time over the holidays, I’m cultivating a small list of my own wishes, in the spirit of fewer better things:
Little gold earrings are all I want to wear with my sweaters. I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of huggies – something unique, possibly with texture. I have four options in my cart at the moment, so I will have to report back on which pair I land on. (I’m also loving stacked hoops right now!)
All things Kosas. I am so into this brand. I have LipFuel in Rush and just picked up the Weightless Lipstick in Rosewater for a black tie affair this weekend. (Full post coming soon on the lip!) That leaves me wishing for the Tinted Face Oil (seriously innovative) and 10-Second Liquid Eyeshadow. Gimme!
The Clare V Mirabel. She’s looks chic, roomy and semi-convertible, with a cross-body option and a handle. Thinking this would help me to commute a little lighter – plus I love pretty much everything Clare V designs and don’t have a thing. (*Truly tragic* – I know.)
A New York Times digital subscription. I am attempting to do more reading and less social media scrolling in 2020 – gifted Audible credits are also high on my list.
A membership to Every Mother or The Balanced Life. I’ve done trials at both and love the coaches, format, length of workout, plus the ability to get it done easily at home. A new yoga mat would be icing on the cake.
